”It’s so funny because now that I’m in America, I’m more able to define it. Before I didn’t have an awareness of another style. I think [British style] has to do with the weather. We have terrible weather. It’s very gray and drizzly so we need things to cheer us up. The Italian Vogue photo shoot was a fascinating experience. I was very excited to work with Vogue for the first time, but also to be given the chance to model couture. Each dress was so special and important because it is one of a kind, and we only had a short time to shoot each one before it had to go elsewhere to be worn or shot by someone else. This meant the shoot had a real momentum. And the jewellery to match each dress came with its own security guards.

“In the middle of shooting DH, I went out to dinner with Bonnie Wright, and we started talking about how we really needed to do something to mark the end of this important part if our lives… And then I had the thought of cutting my hair.
